As a newcomer to this site, I was wondering if I could get any helpful info on purchasing a 300zx. I fell in love with these cars 5 years ago after driving one at a body shop I worked at, and I've had this incredible infatuation ever since. I've been looking for a while now, and I think I may have found it. It's a 94 300x non turbo automatic, it's blue with black leather interior, mechanically clean with only 146k miles. He's selling it for only $3000 because it needs a paint job bad and has two dents. This seems perfect for me because I know how to do bodywork and paint. I guess I was wondering what the problematic factors that go into a 94 300zx, and if there's any secret areas that have a habit of rusting (even though it's a Cali car. I don't want to purchase one of these beautiful machines just to watch it fall apart. Thanks guys
